A tall, clean-cut soldier type with brown hair, Norman is perhaps the closest thing Ditch has to a son-figure. Norman looks up to Ditch with a hero worship that gives even Salvage pause.

That Norman is perfectly willing to risk life and limb at impossible odds for his commander would move even Ditch to tears were it not for one constant and continuous phenomenon... if nuclear war were to occur, the only survivors would be the roaches and Norman... and the roaches wouldn't have half as interesting a tale of survival to tell as Norman would.
